Hotel Bellavista - Menaggio

Everything was great, the room was bright and absolutely perfect with a terrace, a balcony and exceptional view.

The hotel was pleasant and fairly clean, it had free wi-fi, its location was stunning right at the lake. The rooms were large and had a spectacular view of the lake. I truly enjoyed great croissants, toast and cheese. Location: the property was adjacent to the central square where there is a lot of good restaurants and cafes and the lakefront.

The location offers fine lake views was good. The outdoor pool area, overlooking the lake, provides a rare leisure option in this part of Lake Como, inviting relaxation when weather permits.

Rooms can feel a bit cramped, particularly the Economy Double, which may not suit everyone, especially if you're accustomed to more space. Noise from the kitchen below can be bothersome for those in adjacent rooms, particularly in summer when windows are open. The lack of air conditioning might catch some off guard during warmer days, as residents mentioned needing to ask for remote controls to activate cooling units.

The room had a cozy balcony with fine views of the lake, perfect for enjoying morning coffee. The breakfast spread was good, offering both hot and cold options. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The shower pressure was a bit low.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

I was completely blown away by the fine lake view from my balcony. It was the perfect backdrop for morning coffee! The easy access to the ferry was good. I also loved the delicious breakfast spread that kicked off each day with fresh pastries and local cheeses.

I had a fantastic experience enjoying a lovely balcony with breathtaking Lake Como views and a refreshing poolside atmosphere. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious with good options!

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the ferry terminal. My room had a fine balcony lake view, perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning. The room itself was modern and comfortable, with good air conditioning and a reasonable size. The staff were friendly and cute, especially at the bar. The drinks by the pool were reasonably priced, and the views from there were very nice. Breakfast had a decent variety, with tasty pastries and fresh juice. The pool area left a lot to be desired. The water didn't look clear, and I couldn't bring myself to swim. The hours were restrictive too, closing earlier than expected, frustrating after a hot day. The reception staff could be more pleasant. I felt a bit dismissed when asking for simple things. Great stay, but the pool and some staff attitudes detracted from the experience.

This summer, we stayed in menaggio and the experience was great. The fine lakeview from our balcony was amazing, a picturesque setting. The breakfast variety was excellent, especially the freshly baked pastries and local cheeses.

With four young kids, we loved exploring the fine surroundings of the lake. The hotel was a fantastic base for day trips to Cadenabbia Ferry Terminal and playing golf nearby. The kids especially enjoyed the picturesque views we awoke to every morning.

My kids wished the breakfast options were more varied and kid-friendly.

Recommended for a cozy lakeside stay

The view from our balcony was fine! We spent every morning sipping coffee while taking in the amazing scenery and pretending we were in a movie scene. The breakfast had all the essentials, and I found myself enjoying everything more than I expected, especially the bacon and scrambled eggs.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but acceptable for what you get.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially lounging on the sun terrace and taking a dip in the pool with that stunning lake view! Just a heads up, the elevators are pretty snug, so don’t pack too much. I can’t wait to come back and soak in more of that beautiful scenery! 😊

This hotel suits me perfectly! With great wi-fi, a lovely restaurant, and friendly staff who helped me find a car service on my first stay, I always feel at home. I'm excited to come back for a city trip!

It was just a commendable fit for a transient visit in Menaggio with good value for money. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace by the lake, magical. Make sure to get a room with a lake view!

The fine views of Lake Como from my Double Room were amazing. The service was friendly, really enhancing my experience. The breakfast selection could use improvement. A good visit!
